Divinely Timed

If you told us 15 years ago that we’d end up getting married, neither of us would’ve believed you. Though our lives have always been intertwined through church, work, and mutual friends–our timing was never quite right. We always seemed to just miss each other. But looking back, it’s clear that every delay and missed opportunity was nothing but the Lord preparing us for the day He would perfectly align our paths.

Fast forward a few years–we bump into each other at the same place we first met (s/o New Hope Church). That led to funny texts, tight parking spots, and American Pie movie nights with Taryn’s roommate. We laughed, talked for hours, and slowly built something rooted in deep friendship.

Our whole relationship has been a reflection of God’s faithfulness, grace, and perfect timing. Even our engagement echoed that–no big spectacle, just a day filled with our favorite things, ending with a sunset walk where Nick proposed. Neither of us woke up that Sunday knowing we’d be engaged by the end of the day, but of course, God did.
